Welcome, Mather students, teachers, and parents! If you're interested in any of the library services listed below, just stop by the library or contact me via e-mail. I look forward to working with you!
IF YOU'RE A STUDENT, I can guide you in...
- finding a book that matches your interest and reading level.
- researching (using subscription databases, reliable online websites, print materials, etc.)
- organizing information for essays and projects.
- completing homework (except chemistry, trigonometry, French, and German--sorry!).
- composing college application essays.
- creating your own wiki, website, or blog.
- serve as a coach for the online ACT prep tool "number2.com".
- using your FirstClass e-mail account.
IF YOU'RE A TEACHER, I can...
- help teach a research unit (including planning and/or instruction).
- create a pathfinder, webquest, website, wiki, or blog that supplements a class assignment or unit.
- show you how to create your own website or wiki, as well as develop your pages on the Mather website.
- support your classroom instruction by gathering materials and information or teaching students information literacy skills.
- provide readers' advisory services by giving book talks and helping each student find materials of personal interest and appropriate reading level.
- Help you write a grant to fund books or other materials to support your teaching.
